SFMOA Artist GalleryAPRIL 2005

Art For Sale

San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Artists Gallery & Conference Center, Building A

Once again the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Artists Gallery presents five days of shopping opportunities for some of the best art bargains in the city. On opening day, art lovers line up before the doors open to be among the first to choose from the hundreds of original, museum-quality pieces. More than 400 top-flight artists are represented, among them Jennifer Bain, Leo Bersamina, Tom Bolles, Sheldon Greenberg, Mike Henderson, Terry Hoff, Naomie Kremer, and Sharon Wickham.

Established in 1978, the Artists Gallery represents more than 1,300 artists whose works are available to the public for sale or rent. The pieces presented at the annual warehouse sale are offered at 50 percent off the normal price.

Join in the festive grand opening reception on Wednesday, April 27 (beginning at 6 p.m.) where you can enjoy refreshments and live music from the Cajun Belles. The final day of the sale closes with live jazz by the Roger Tuan Ensemble. See the April 27 calendar listing and www.sfmoma.org/museum-\store/artists_overview.html for more details on this eagerly anticipated event.
