Festival Pavilion
Few cities have events to equal the International Beer Festival at Fort Mason Center. This fantastic evening of tasty food, incredible brews, and high spirits celebrates its 23rd anniversary in the Festival Pavilion on April 29.
Festival patrons enjoy more than 200 beers from some of the best craft brewers on the planet. Bay Area favorites Anchor Steam Brewery and San Francisco Brewing Company participate, as do numerous microbreweries and brewpubs throughout California and the West.
The Beer Festival is a showcase for unique beverages from around the world. For instance, if you’ve ever wanted to sample chocolate stout from a variety of vendors, seize the chance at the festival. Artisan ciders and other specialty drinks are also on the menu.
The delicious libations pair well with the hearty food offered at the festival. Pizza, burritos, pasta, desserts, and more ensure that no one goes hungry during the tasting event. Add live music and an enthusiastic crowd of beer lovers to the mix and you’ve got the ultimate recipe for fun.
Perhaps the best thing about all this excitement is the reason it takes place — the beer festival is the primary fundraiser for the Telegraph Hill Cooperative Nursery School. Founded more than 50 years ago, the school is run entirely by parents and emphasizes family involvement in all aspects of education and child development.
Don’t miss the Bay Area’s best beer festival and fundraising event. For more information, refer to April 29 and www.sfbeerfest.com.
