Conference Center, Building A
Independent film, video, and animation are growing industries in Northern California with increasing numbers of studios, production companies, and artists moving to the Bay Area. In response to this growth, Stellis Media hosts the San Francisco (SF) Film & Video Makers Conference at Fort Mason Center in early May. This event builds on the success of Stellis’ July 2005 SF Independent Film Financing & Distribution Conference.
Film industry experts converge on the conference center in Building A to discuss how independent film and video makers can realize their cinematic visions in the current business and creative climate. Speaker sessions, panel discussions, and seminars focus on the latest developments in independent film and video; including creative issues, script packaging, structuring deals, financing, distribution, marketing, and other business and artistic topics.
As an added dimension, the conference features film and video screenings. These screenings offer new perspectives and insights to aspiring film and video makers and prospective business partners.
