Festival Pavilion
The Serendipity Fine Arts & Crafts show makes Memorial Day weekend at Fort Mason Center especially memorable in 2006. Organized by artist Takashi Honda, this new event brings distinctive craft artists to the Festival Pavilion for a great show filled with beautiful creations.
 Nearly 200 artists exhibit at the Serendipity show, offering fine crafts in a variety of media — ceramics, wood, fiber, glass, leather, metal, and mixed media. Original sculptures, paintings, photographs, and jewelry are also available.
Landscape painter Thomas Moinet conducts painting demonstrations during the sale. Sonoma wood furniture craftsman John Moldovan brings sculptural rocking and swivel chairs and other pieces to the show. Sabine Brunner’s whimsical animal ceramics brighten any collection, while sculptor Michael Szabo creates fountains, vases, and other constructions from steel, concrete, wire, and other industrial materials.
