Printz Dance Project offers highly charged, musically driven dance that blends various styles including modern, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop. Comprised of six diverse works, the project’s seventh season at the Cowell Theater includes collaborations with Bay Area beatboxer Carlos Aguirre (aka Infinite), musician Kenny Annis, and composer Matthew Kratz (aka Kraddy).
The eight-member company has performed at festivals and venerated venues across the country, and recently represented the United States at the 14th International Festival of Modern Dance in Lithuania. Backstage magazine calls their performances “stylishly hip.” Witness their vibrant movement first-hand October 5-7 at Fort Mason Center’s Cowell Theater.
