Harlem Nights — A Casino Party

Dress up. Dance. Enjoy a little food, a little entertainment, and a little gambling? Sounds like fun. You'll also help support the programs of Positive Directions Equals Change, a nonprofit organization that provides people with the necessary tools to live a healthy lifestyle. The celebration and fundraising event starts at 8 pm, Saturday, June 23.

So, for the price of admission, you get to indulge in blackjack, craps, and roulette — and maybe win some prizes. All the while, proceeds go toward such services as substance abuse treatment, life skills re-socialization training, batterer's intervention services, anger management, and violence prevention as well as parenting education, HIV/AIDS awareness, and transitional housing.
