Sustainable business is the topic of a major three-day conference called EnergyEASE 07 held November 16-18 at Fort Mason Center. EASE stands for “environmental accountability for a sustainable earth,” and the “unconference” as they bill it, encourages participation and relationship building that will transform fragmented energy initiatives and segments into an economically viable, fluidly operating “new energy market.”
While most of the attendees are focused on energy market exchange and oversight processes and policies of sustainable business, there are afternoon new energy market related talks that are open to the public each day. Among the speakers are Elisabet Sahtouris, an evolution biologist and futurist, FireHawk, a teacher of ancient Earth Wisdom, and Morel Fourman, CEO and founder of Gaiasoft.
An exhibition area provides visitors with a hands-on experience. Visitors move through a “colorful, happy rainbow-filled world of a healthy universe” —a kind of yellow brick road from booth to booth.
